Simply set up at your table or classroom nature table with your loose parts (stones, sticks, playdough, leaves, twigs, buttons, pebbles, shells and any other nature based manipulative you have on hand) and get children tracing the patterns using the materials. Your little ones will learn pre writing patterns such as curves, loops,up & down strokes and straight lines.  They make the perfect addition for nature based preschools, daycares or morning baskets .
 
Simply print on A4 size paper (laminate for longer/multiple use ) cut around round edge border to form your pattern mats.
